ATTENTION ALL WRITERS!
We’re really excited to put out an anthology of dark fantasy stories to the level of quality content and stories you all have come to expect from Aphotic Realm.
While our open ended deadline worked for us and our schedules, it came off as non committal and besides, let’s face it, we all work better with the pressure of a deadline.
With that in mind, we’ve decided to revamp the submission requirements/guidelines for Grimdark.
DEADLINE: May 15th 2018 (END OF DAY)
The Reading Period will not begin until the deadline is closed. Every submission will receive an acceptance or rejection by June 1st, 2018.
COMPENSATION:
A token payment of 5 USD will be paid to the author upon acceptance. In addition, you will receive your choice of a PDF, ePub, or MOBI copy of the issue/anthology.
OPEN TO ALL:
Since we’ve set a deadline, and removed the “first come, first served” stipulations, we are opening up submissions to ALL writers who want to submit, even to the folks we’ve published previously. Once the submission window has closed and the reading period begins, we will select the ten best stories that will be in the anthology.
